Design and Display:
The Vivo V27e shares a boxy form factor with its sibling, the V27. The Lavender Purple variant stands out with an attractive feathery design on the back panel. The camera module appears clean and premium, accompanied by the unique Aura Ring Light feature. Unfortunately, it lacks a headphone jack.
Display:
The V27e features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the AMOLED panel delivers deep blacks and vibrant colors for content consumption, the screen quality could be improved. Despite providing a bright viewing experience, the colors may not meet the expectations of some users. Nonetheless, the 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth overall performance.
Performance:
Under the hood, the V27e is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a mid-range 4G chip. While it offers decent performance for daily tasks and ensures a lag-free experience, it may struggle with more demanding games like PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile. The gaming experience could be better for the price, with other phones in the same range offering superior gaming performance.
Software:
The V27e runs on Fun Touch OS, which may not be favored by all users. However, the overall UI experience is relatively clean, with minimal pre-installed apps. This helps to avoid excessive bloatware, providing a decent UI experience.
Camera:
The V27e features a triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and two 2MP depth and macro lenses. While daylight shots exhibit saturated colors with slight reddish tones and decent dynamic range, the details may not be exceptional. Portrait shots often produce inaccurate skin tones and a reddish tint. Night mode brightens shots but doesn't always deliver impressive results. Selfies are decent with slightly off white balance. Video stabilization is limited to 1080p 30fps, which may not meet some users' expectations.
Battery:
With its 4600mAh battery, the V27e offers decent battery life for moderate usage. Heavy usage may drain the battery quickly, but the included 66W fast charger can charge the device from 0 to 50% in just 19 minutes, with a full charge taking less than an hour.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Vivo V27e is a decent mid-range device, but its pricing could have been more competitive. It boasts an appealing design and an okayish camera performance. However, for gaming enthusiasts, there are better options available in this price range, such as the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro 5G, which offer more powerful chipsets for a significantly better gaming experience. Nevertheless, if you have a limited budget and don't engage in heavy gaming, the V27e can still meet your daily needs.
Pros:
Attractive Design
66W fast charger included
Minimal pre-installed apps, bloatware-free OS
Cons:
Average Price to Performance Ratio
Mediocre front and back cameras
Single Speaker
